The PlayStation 2 version offers the same style of gameplay with a number of enhancements like fully 3D graphics and a level-based mode called "Get a Life" (where players must accomplish a specific goal to progress forward), which rewards player success with unlockable goodies like a teppanyaki table, aroma master, and a strip poker game. The PS2 version also features the open-ended gameplay popularized by the PC version and also adds a multiplayer component that lets players go head-to-head to compete for "popularity points" and bragging rights. The Sims for PS2 retails for $49.99 and is rated "T" for Teens by the ESRB. |
