Microsoft had long intended to expend its Xbox market in Asia. Recently, Microsoft had taken action in providing online services in the emerging Asian markets by signing deals with a few broadband Internet service providers in areas such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. By doing so, it promote and support Xbox Live in those territories and thus increase Xbox users.
