Deus Ex mixed the first-person shooter and RPG to great success, as did System Shock 2. Warcraft 3 added some RPG elements to the traditional real-time strategy genre, and Sega's Shenmue games managed to combine elements from adventure, RPG, fighter and arcade games into one package. Despite the wide variety in gameplay, however, these games all had one thing in common -- they were all fantastic. Another upcoming genre-bender looking to join that elite group is Project Nomads, being created by German developer Radon Labs.
